Ross River, Townsville

Kermit, not actually at Ross River, outside looking in on the window

We were a little disappointed that the water lilies weren't flowering
but the buds were looking very elegant - a little bonus was the blue dragonfly

I've looked in Aidan's bird book - this maybe a Darter

Ross River is known for its smallish turtles - I love the look in this wee ones eyes.

Australian White Ibis/Black-Necked Ibis -
Mr and Mrs preparing their nest.

The upturned lily pad - amazing "tributaries"

I think it's a Darter too. I've only ever managed to take fuzzy images of them - brilliant.
